An all-round artist - The Times, LondonRonald Masin is one of the music world's leading lights and has played every role a musician could. A recognised talent already as a youth, he continues to perform as a soloist and conductor to this day and teaches the next generation of gifted string instrumentalists. Masin was the Amsterdam Philharmonic's concertmaster for more than two decades, and founded one of the Netherland's pioneering chamber music groups, the Amsterdam Kern Ensemble. First printed in 1982, "Violin Technique, the natural way" is his contribution to pedagogy, a book he wrote together with Maria Kelemen. This website offers some insight into Masin's life-story. Audio experiences of his live and recorded work are now available for your listening pleasure. Enjoy! |
